How It All Began

Inspiration Meets Innovation

Columbia Pictures Aquaverse was conceived in 2019 when Sony Pictures sought to bring its beloved cinematic universes to life in a new, immersive way. Set in the coastal town of Bang Saray, Thailand, the park merges blockbuster storytelling with world-class water attractions, inviting guests to step beyond the screen. After three years of design, engineering, and collaboration with global ride manufacturers, Aquaverse opened its gates in 2023, quickly earning accolades as one of Asia’s most innovative theme parks.
